The name “Tugaloo” comesfrom an Indian name for the river which once flowed freely prior to the construction of Hartwell Dam.

35 Foot Standard Campsites holds the following equipment: 1 tent, 2 tents, a pop-up trailer, a trailer up to 35', or a motorhome up to 35'. Has water, 30 AMP electrical service, picnic table, grill, fire ring, comfort station with washer and dryer and cable. Maximum 6 people per site. Maximum 2 Vehicles per site.
35 Foot Premium Waterfront Campsites holds the following equipment: 1 tent, 2 tents, a pop-up trailer, a trailer up to 35', or a motorhome up to 35'. Has water, 30 AMP electrical service, picnic table, grill, fire ring, comfort station with washer and dryer and cable. Maximum 6 people per site. Maximum 2 Vehicles per site.
Pioneer Campsite - This is a primitive, rugged site for groups only. Group leader has to be at least 18 years of age. 10 person minimum. Site is located by itself. This area is located privately on the lake. Site has water but no electricity. Site has 3 adirondack shelters, multiple tent pads, and pit privies. All equipment must be hiked in approx 50 yards. This area is for hiking campers only. No vehicles allowed.

Lakefront Cottages 1-4 & 16-19 - Two bedroom cottage. Each bedroom has 2 double beds. Sleeps 8. Has two 1/2 baths with shared shower. 16-19 have 2 full baths. Linens provided. Equipped kitchen with coffee maker & microwave. Wood stove (wood not provided) heat/AC. Cable TV. No phone. Open deck. Picnic table & grill outside.
Lakefront Cottages 5-10 - Two bedroom cottage. Each bedroom has two double beds. Sleeps 8. Has one full bath. Bed and bath linens provided. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker and microwave. Fireplace (wood not provided) heat/AC. Cable TV. No phone. Screened porch. Picnic table and grill outside.
Lakefront Cottages 11A & 11-15 - Two bedroom cottage. Each bedroom has two double beds. Sleeps 8. Has two full baths. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker and microwave. Fireplace (wood not provided) heat/AC. Cable . No phone. Open decks. Picnic table and grill outside.
Group Shelter - Enclosed shelter. Located on waterfront. Has heat, AC, restrooms attached, a full kitchen, tables, chairs, & ceiling fans. There are two small grills at this facility. Trail to day use area is 1/8 mile. All visitors are required to have parkpass.
Pavilion - Accessible open-sided covered shelter. Located at beach with access to putt-putt, volleyball, & horseshoes. Restrooms at shelter. There is no grill, but the park has a large grill that you can rent at this shelter. Tables & chairs are set up for groups up to 80. A security deposit may be required. All visitors are required to have parkpass.

Waterfront Picnic Shelters #1 & #2 - Open-sided covered shelter. Parking limited to beach parking lot. Loading and unloading area available at the shelter - Maximum of 15 minutes. Grill at shelter. Restrooms about 50 yards away.
Picnic Shelter #3 - Open-sided covered shelter. Located behind the miniature golf area. Parking limited to beach parking lot. Loading and unloading area available at the shelter - Maximum of 15 minutes. Grill at shelter. Restrooms about 50 yards away.
Waterfront Picnic Shelters #4 & #6 - Open-sided covered shelter. Parking limited to beach parking lot. Loading and unloading area available at the shelter - Maximum of 15 minutes. Grill at shelter. Restrooms about 100 yards away.
Picnic Shelter #5 - Open-sided covered shelter. Located below the park office next to the boat ramp. Parking limited to beach parking lot. Not located at the day-use area. Loading and unloading area available at the shelter - Maximum of 15 minutes. Grill at shelter. Restrooms about 50 yards away.
Waterfront Picnic Shelter - #7 - Open-sided covered shelter. Parking limited to beach parking lot. Loading and unloading area available at the shelter - Maximum of 15 minutes. Grill at shelter. Restrooms about 100 yards away. Handicap Accessible.

Reservations Cancellation Policy - Cancellation of a reservation must be made at least 3 days prior to the date of arrival in order to receive a refund. A cancellation/handling fee per reservation will be charged. Changes in arrival date made less than 3 days prior to the scheduled arrival will constitute a cancellation and forfeit of the deposit. 7-14 day Cottage Reservation Guidelines: All cancellations received 30 days in advance will receive deposit refund minus a cancellation fee per facility.

If a customer requests to cancel less then 30 days in advance but before 72 hours of arrival, the customer may request refund in witting to the site. If cottage is rebooked for the time period originally reserved, site will have Customer Service issue a full refund to the customer minus the cancellation fee. If reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of arrival date no refund of the one night deposit will be given. Deposits are required for all reservations. Credit card deposits are posted when the reservation is made.

Reservation Changes (Changes in arrival dates, transfers, etc.) You may make one change without a charge, provided a 3-day notice is given. Additional changes will incur a per reservation handling fee.
