Celebrate the Irish in each of us during Dublin's St. Patrick's Festival with over 40 events throughout the month of March, including a BBQ Championship, food festival, parade, leprechaun contest, road race, arts and crafts festival and much more. Get those Irish eyes smiling the first weekend in March during Pig in the Park BBQ Championship & Concert at the Market on Madison in Downtown Dublin for two days of live music, entertainment, and the best BBQ around.

Head to Dublin the Saturday after St. Patrick's Day for a jig of epic proportions! Known as Super Saturday, bring the whole family for the St. Patrick's Parade, Arts & Crafts Festival, Gospel Sing, Leprechaun Road Race, Quilt Show, Irish Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner and more.

St. Patrick's Littlest Leprechaun Contest

Little Irish personalities will be shinin' through when The Lighthouse Adult Daycare Center presents Littlest Leprechaun Contest at Theatre Dublin on Tuesday, March 5 at 6 p.m. Children and parents will both delight in creative costumes and clever characters of wee lads and lassies. Registration form and fee deadline is February 20, 2019.

St. Patrick's Pig in the Park BBQ Fest

Grab your lawn chairs as downtown spices things up with live musical performances, food vendors, and rides for the kids during St. Patrick’s Pig in the Park BBQ Championship.

Get fired up in Dublin, Ga. during the St. Patrick’s Pig in the Park BBQ Championship at the Market on Madison with live music, hot grills, and all the family fun beginning Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m. and continuing Saturday, March 7.

The competition heats up as the BBQ Championship continues on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as teams compete for bragging rights and cash prizes. 2020 BBQ Entry Form coming soon!

Sponsored by Main Street Dublin and the Dublin Downtown Development Authority, the St. Patrick’s Pig in the Park BBQ Championship pits competitors against each other in three categories: ribs, pulled pork and chicken with first, second, and third place awarded in each division. Savor the sights and smells as downtown Dublin fires up for this annual event. There will be kiddie rides, free BBQ samples hot off the grill, live music, and more!

Take a whack and with a bit of luck you may just win big during Keep Dublin-Laurens Beautiful's St. Patrick's Clean & Green Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 7th beginning at 8:00 AM.

Clean & Green Golf Tournament

Gather your team for a four man scramble of epic proportions at Dublin's prettiest public golf course, Riverview Golf Course. Bordering the Ocmulgee River, this 18 hole course is designed to challenge and delight.

The fun tees off at 8:00 AM with a shotgun start.

Register your four man team for $225 and sponsor a hole for $100.

Riverview Golf Course

Opened in 1977, Riverview features 6,161 yards of golf on lush Bermuda with a par of 72 with pro shop, cart and club rentals, and lessons.

St. Patrick's Kite Flying Jamboree

Saturday, March 7, 2020 1:00pm - 4:00pm


Bring your favorite kite as the luck of the Irish blows in steady breezes for the Annual St. Patrick’s Festival Kite Flying Jamboree at Springdale Baptist Church on Saturday, March 7th from 1 PM to 4 PM.

This free family event fills the sky with bold swirls of color and bright laughter as kites race and swoop in the sky. Lucky the Leprechaun will visit, and snacks will be available for donations.

Things get whimsical during the Bubble Blowing Contest for children 0-4 years old.

In case of inclement weather, the Jamboree will be rescheduled to March 14th.

Irish Balloon Fest & Glow

Watch as color and shapes light the skies above Dublin as a multitude of hot air balloons float in a race to the finish in a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day during the St. Patrick’s Balloon Fest & Glow.

Admission is free.

Tethered rides may be available at the balloonists discretion for $10 during both days of the Glow beginning at around 4 PM.

Rides will be available for purchase at the balloonists discretion for $200 beginning at 7 AM on Saturday. All rides (tethered or untethered) are first come, first served and may be cancelled due to weather.

Please Note: The St. Patrick’s Balloon Fest & Glow entirely depends on the weather. If the weather conditions are too windy or storms are forecast, the take off will be postponed or cancelled until conditions are acceptable. We love our balloonists. Their safety will be our primary concern.

Leprechaun Road Race

Gear up for Dublin’s Annual St. Patricks Leprechaun Road Race on Super Saturday featuring a 1K Fun Run & Walk, 5K, and 10K where the whole family can run to support local charities on Saturday, March 21st at 8 AM.

All events start and finish at Dublin High School Old Gymnasium located across from Dublin Mall. Get those Irish eyes smiling and feet moving in support of HEART OF GEORGIA FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES in the race to crown the fastest leprechaun!

All aboard a magical memorable journey during the Polar Express Movie Experience at Martin Movie House Saturday, December 21st at 10:30 AM.

The Experience

On Christmas Eve, a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.

Explore the best of Downtown Dublin during the St. Patrick's Arts & Crafts Festival as live music, artisans, and food take center stage at the Market on Madison and Bicentennial Plaza for a jig of epic proportions! Featuring live entertainment, petting zoo, play zone with pony rides, activities for kids of all ages, beautiful landscaping, a huge outdoor dining pavilion and food court, guest information booths, and more, the Arts & Crafts Festival promises families a lively time!

Set in the heart of downtown Dublin, the Arts & Crafts Festival gathers artisans from across the Southeast. With everything from pine needle baskets to homemade bread, you'll sink your teeth into a good time. We'll close the streets but no one cares because there is ample parking for all and our local shops and eateries are a step away!

St. Patrick's Parade
Saturday, March 21, 2020 10:30am - 12:30pm

Everyone’s a wee bit Irish in Dublin during the St. Patricks Parade in historic Downtown Dublin. Get those Irish eyes smiling as hundreds of floats take to Jackson Street and Bellevue Avenue for the ultimate celebration of Irish pride. Be sure to wear your green and get ready to frolic! Watch the kids go crazy as floats come their way during this festive parade. Wave at all the frilly green floats as “Lucky” the leprechaun makes his way into town surrounded by floats full of creativity as they make their way through the parade route.

Organized by Dublin Civitan Club, entry to be in the St. Patrick’s Parade is $60.

You must sign the parade rules, and it must be returned with your parade application. The 2020 St. Patricks Day Parade app is coming soon.

St. Patrick's Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner

Any Irishman knows the saying, “A cabin with plenty of food is better than a hungry castle,” and Dublin is the land of plenty! Feast during the Irish Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner at First United Methodist Church on Super Saturday, March 21st from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM!

Sample mounds of your favorite Irish food including perfectly seasoned Irish corned beef and cabbage, boiled potatoes, fresh carrots, desserts, and drinks during the Irish Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner. Your taste buds will do a jig worthy of the jolliest Leprechaun!

Bring the whole family to First United Methodist Church, located at 305 Gaines Street in beautiful Downtown Dublin, for a true Irish feast. Join the craic during St. Patrick’s Super Saturday, March 16th, from 11:30 AM to 3 PM.

After a day full of St. Patrick’s frolicking, roll out of bed and ready yourself for mimosas! From eggs to grits, St. Patrick’s Super Sunday Brunch will be just what the doctor ordered to for the perfect finish to your St. Patrick’s Super Weekend!

Eat like an Irishman with the whole family as Super Sunday Brunch dishes up all your favorite brunch foods like eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and so much more! Down a few mimosas or open your eyes with a fresh coffee or two!
