This lake is among Georgia's most popular boating areas and fishng areas in the state. It has ample lakeside camping areas, amenities and handicap access.

Some places are free to park at and others charge a $3 vehicle parking fee. Free admission.

Cheek Recreation Area - This access area is located directly across from Plant Branch on Highway 441. It is designed for bank fishermen with facilities including a large fishing pier, shoreline enhanced with fish attracting structures, and a parking lot.

Cosby's Landing is another access area that is ideal for fishermen. Located in a quiet cove on the Island Creek branch of Lake Sinclair, this park has facilities including a boat ramp, fishing pier, handicap access and parking lot. Cosby's Landing is easily accessible from Carrs Station Road on the southeastern portion of the lake. Latitude: N33° 10' 04" and Longitude: W83° 11' 18"

Lake SinclairLake Sinclair Recreation Area
is an ideal place for families, scout outings, group and church gatherings. It offers dozens of campsites, picnic areas and boating activities. Hikers enjoy the 1.8-mile Twin Bridges Trail. Hunting is also a popular activity, as a variety of wildlife make its home in the area. There are 43 campsite here, 5 have electricity and 38 do not have electricity. $3 day use vehicle parking fee. Lake Sinclair-Rocky Creek Park
- Located on the southeast side of the lake in Baldwin County near Sinclair Dam, this park provides popular day-use access to Lake Sinclair. Facilities park include a pavilion, picnic tables, grills, fishing pier, swimming beach, playground, a boat ramp, handicap accessability and restrooms. This park is open to the public each year from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The park is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pets are welcome. Little River Park - All 130 RV Campsites are full hookup sites for a relaxing vacation at the lake. They have 30/50 AMP service, water, sewer, and cable TV hookup. We have 39 waterfront sites, these are all back-in sites. Sinclair Dam Pier
offers fishing and is handicapped accessible. Latitude: N33° 08' 26" and Longitude: W83° 12' 01"

Sinclair Marina

Sinclair and Wallace Tailraces - Below the Wallace and Sinclair Dams are popular fishing areas. The Sinclair tailrace area is immediately downstream of the Sinclair Dam and Powerhouse and has a fishing platform with handicap access and safety railing. This area is accessible from Sinclair Dam Road on the west side of the river. On the northern stretches of Lake Sinclair where the Oconee River flows from the Wallace Dam, is the Oconee Tailrace. This fishing pier and recreation area is easily accessible from Georgia Highway 16 in Putnam County.

Sunset Marina is handicapped accessible and offers fishing, marina, gas and restrooms. Latitude: N33° 12' 33" and Longitude: W83° 17' 02"

T.D. Creek Pier is great for fishing. Handicapped accessible. Latitude: N33° 11' 35" and Longitude: W83° 17' 30"
