Historic buildings at Indian Springs State ParkThis 528-acre park is thought to be the oldest state park in the nation. It was acquired by the state in 1825 and became an official "State Forest Park" in 1927.

Park Amenities
- The Creek Indians used the springs for centuries to heal the sick and impart extra vigor to the well. During the 1800s, the area was a bustling resort town.

Campgrounds Info
RV camping at Indian Springs State Park50 foot Campsites hold the following equipment: 1 tent, 2 tents, a pop-up trailer, a trailer up to 50', or a motorhome up to 50'. Each site has water, 20 & 30 amp electrical service, picnic table, grill, fire ring, and cable hook-up. The comfort station with washer/dryer. Maximum 6 people per site. Maximum 2 vehicles per site.

Pioneer Campsite - This is a primitive, rugged site for groups only with a minimum of 10 people. It is for primitive tent camping only. No bathroom or shower facilities. The site has water, fire ring, and outhouses. No electrical service is provided.

Picnic area at Indian Springs State ParkGroup Camps: Summer Camp Fun - Group camps are reminiscent of going away to summer camp and are perfect for large youth gatherings. While each is unique, they all provide rustic cabins with bunk beds, large kitchens, dining/assembly rooms, restrooms with hot showers, activity areas and swimming facilities (except Unicoi). Linens are not provided. Minimum occupancy is two nights, and a deposit is required. Cancellations must be made at least six months in advance and will be assessed a $50 cancellation fee. Group Camps are not reservable online, please call 1-800-864-7275.

Cottages Info
Two bedroom cottage. Each bedroom has two double beds. Sleeps 8. Has one full bath. Bed and bath linens provided. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave. Fireplace (wood not provided.) heat/AC. TV. No phone. Screened porch. Picnic table and grill outside. Cottage 1 is ADA handicap accessible.

Picnic Shelter #1: Open-sided covered shelter, located next to miniature golf, playground and restroom. Shelter has electricity and grill. All visitors are required to have ParkPass.
Picnic Shelter #2: Open-sided covered shelter, located near boat ramp and within walking distance to the restroom. Shelter has electricity. All visitors are required to have ParkPass.
Picnic Shelter #3: Open-sided covered shelter, within walking distance to restroom. Shelter has electricity and grill. All visitors are required to have ParkPass.
Picnic Shelter #4: Open-sided covered shelter, located next to the field and within walking distance to the restroom. Shelter has electricity and grill. All visitors are required to have ParkPass.
Picnic Shelter #5: Open-sided covered shelter , located close to the lake and across the street from the ADA restroom. Shelter has electricity and grill. All visitors are required to have ParkPass.
Picnic Shelter #6: Open-sided covered shelter, located close to the lake and next to the beach area. Shelter has electricity and grill. All visitors are required to have ParkPass.
Picnic Shelter #7: Open-sided covered shelter. Close to lake and next beach area. Has no electricity. Has grill. All visitors are required to have parkpass.
Indian Springs State Park dock
Stone pavilion. You may use the room on the end and half of the breezeway. Tables and chairs are provided. No grill is available. All visitors are required to have ParkPass.
Enclosed Group Shelter. Next to lake and boat ramp. Has folding tables and chairs, ceiling fans. Has commerical kitchen equipment and is winterized (heated). Air conditioning, bar-b-que shelter, restrooms connected to facility - not inside. Renter must check in at park office to sign rental agreement. Security deposit may be required. All visitors are required to have parkpass.

Reservations Cancellation Policy
Picnic Shelter at Indian Springs State ParkCancellation of a reservation must be made at least 3 days prior to the date of arrival in order to receive a refund. A $10 cancellation/handling fee per reservation will be charged. Changes in arrival date made less than 3 days prior to the scheduled arrival will constitute a cancellation and forfeit of the deposit. 7-14 day Cottage Reservation Guidelines: All cancellations received 30 days in advance will receive deposit refund minus the $10 cancellation fee per facility.

If a customer requests to cancel less then 30 days in advance but before 72 hours of arrival, the customer may request refund in witting to the site. If cottage is rebooked for the time period originally reserved, site will have Customer Service issue a full refund to the customer minus $10 cancellation fee. If reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of arrival date no refund of the one night deposit will be given. Deposits are required for all reservations. Credit card deposits are posted when the reservation is made.

Check-in - Check-in is between 1 pm and 10 pm and check-out is before 1 pm. Campers must register and present a reservation confirmation before setting up. If you do not arrive on the first night of your stay, you will be counted as a no-show, your reservation will be cancelled, and you will forfeit your deposit.

Reservation Changes (Changes in arrival dates, transfers, etc.) You may make one change without a charge, provided a 3-day notice is given. Additional changes will incur a per reservation handling fee.
