Scenic Hamburg State ParkWith modern-day facilities amidst reminders of days gone by, this 741-acre park offers a wonderful mix of history and outdoor recreation.

Park Amenities
- Anglers can enjoy great lake fishing for largemouth bass, crappie and bream, as well as boat ramps and a fishing pier. Campers find shaded campsites along the edge of quiet Hamburg Lake fed by the Little Ogeechee River.

Campgrounds
Campsites with electricity - 50 foot campsites holds the following equipment: 1 tent, 2 tents, a pop-up trailer, a trailer up to 50', or a motorhome up to 50'. Each site has water, 30 amp electrical, lantern post, picnic table, grill, and fire ring. No cable hook ups. Collecting of firewood is permissible. Located within 300 yard of a comfort station. Maximum 6 people per site. Maximum 2 vehicles per site. Please be aware the park will assign your site.
Pioneer Campsite - This is a primitive, rugged site for groups only. Groups must consist of at least 10 persons. The site is located by itself in an the open field close to the lake. Site has water, small shelter, picnic tables, and grills. No electrical service available. In wooded area.
Picnic Shelters
Pavilion at Hamburg State ParkPicnic Shelter #1: Open-sided covered shelter with a lake view. Located close to the playground and approximately 20 yards from the restroom. Shelter has 4 tables, electricity, water, and grill. Area restroom will be closed November thru February. All visitors are required to have ParkPass.

Picnic Shelter #2: Open-sided covered shelter with a lake view. Located close to the playground and approximately 300 yards from the restroom. Shelter has 4 tables, electricity, water, and grill. Area restroom will be closed November thru February. All visitors are required to have ParkPass.
Group Shelter
Enclosed shelter. Back deck that overlooks the waterfall. Historic building has been converted into a screened in shelter with a kitchen area which contains a stove, refrigerator, hot water sink, and serving table. There is a large grill outside.
