Alpharetta Arboretum TreeArboretums at Cogburn Road Park, Willis Park and Webb Bridge Park showcase the natural beauty of local trees. Complimentary brochures for self-guided tours are at Alpharetta Welcome Center. Enjoy mother nature for free!

The Arboretum at Wills Park includes 26 designated arboretum trees and can be enjoyed simply by following the walking trail at the Park. The trailhead of the walking arboretum trail is in the front parking lot of the Wills Park Equestrian Center on Wills Road.

Alpharetta Community Garden -This garden allows plotholders to grow their own food and it fulfills our mission to 'connect people to nature' while educating them about the horticultural requirements of the vegetable garden.

There are 37 plots, and most are 10'X4. There are also 3 enabling beds with wheelchair access.

Alpharetta Arboretum at Cogburn Park is at the site of an old homestead and features trees typical of a homestead site in the north Fulton area - Southern Magnolias, Water Oaks, and Dogwood. When the city of Alpharetta developed this site into a passive park, they left 3 large Pecan trees here as well. In addition to the Magnolias, the Water Oaks, the Pecans, and the Dogwood, the Arboretum includes a Pin Oak, a Ginkgo and a Yellowwood.

Webb Bridge Park is a beautiful, mixed use park in the city of Alpharetta. It features tennis courts, baseball fields and a soccer field, but two-thirds of this park is dedicated to passive green space, forest and trails. This arboretum features trees native to all 3 of Georgia's physiographic regions: the mountains, the Piedmont and the coastal plain. It is a 'Walk Through Georgia.

Amenities: Parking, Public Restrooms, Accessiblity for mobility-impaired and Party Facilities.

Our mission: The mission of the Alpharetta Arboretum is to connect people to nature for their education and enjoyment. We engage the community through horticultural demonstration, ecological education and the stewardship of botanically rich places.
